Lucky Brand Mahzan Review
Lucky Brand has been bringing you great quality products since they were established in 1990. Taking inspiration from their Southern California roots, they strive to bring you both clothing and shoes that embody a laid back and free-spirited lifestyle. They are known mostly for their great fitting vintage-inspired jeans, but they are more than just that, they make all different kinds of apparel as well as shoes. They bring you fun designs with a personalized touch and some playful details to give you a great look that you will love. The Lucky Brand Lk-mahzan ankle booties are just one more if their long line of great products they have available for purchase.
These boots have a unique style that customers seem to like. They have cutout sides and a pointed toe silhouette. Unfortunately, some customers are unhappy with the lack of color options, but they make do with the few they do have to choose from. They are highly durable so the steep price tag is not as bad as it might seem, you will not have to worry about replacing the shoes anytime soon, making them well worth the extra money you spend on them. These shoes do not offer the best underfoot experience, as there is a very little cushioning in the footbed, which means you are not going to get a soft feeling under your feet that you might be looking for. Additionally, this means that there is not a lot in the way of arch support either. This does not seem to be too much of a problem as long as you are not going to be standing for extended periods of time. Overall, customers are happy with these booties and say they are an excellent addition to their wardrobes.
- Unique style
- Soft inner lining
- Great versatility
- 1.25-inch block heel
- Long-lasting durability
- Lightweight and breathable
- Not the most comfortable
- High price tag
- Lack of color options
- Not available in wide width
They have a 1.25-inch block heel on them so they are going to give you a little bit height when you are wearing them which most women love. This measurement is based on a size 6.5 medium and the height may vary depending on the size you choose. The block heel is a chunky square shaped heel that gives you the illusion of layers of wood that are stacked on top of each other for a great look.
The leather, mixed with the leather inner lining, are going to ensure that your shoes have a decent amount of breathability to them so your feet can stay relatively cool and dry while you are on the go. There is not a whole lot of ventilation but there is enough that most customers are satisfied. Since you are able to get air flow into the foot chamber you are able to keep your feel relatively cool, but it is also going to allow any sweat from your feet to evaporate quickly and efficiently, helping keep your feet dry and it promotes a healthy in shoe environment for your feet.
There are a few color options that you can choose from when purchasing these shoes, although there is not a whole lot and some people would have liked to have seen more. You can choose between desert, nougat, titanium, or Zinfandel. Overall, however, customers are OK with these options and have no problem finding something that is going to best fit their style needs.
They do, however, offer you a decent amount of support for your everyday casual wear. They do not have a lacing system but they still do a pretty good job of keeping your feet locked in place, you will not have to worry about your feet slipping and sliding around inside your shoes or potentially falling out of them when you take step, causing you to fall and potentially hurt yourself or someone else.
When it comes to arch support, they do not really offer a whole lot. They have a lightly padded footbed but there is not really enough padding under your arches so if you have particularly high arches then these might not be the best option for you.
The rest of the shoe, however, offers a decent amount of comfort. The soft lining throughout the shoe helps reduce the risk of your feet rubbing uncomfortably along the inside of your shoes which can lead to blisters. As long as you get the correct fit in these ankle booties then you should have no problem when it comes to blister and chafing protection.
It appears that the Lucky Brand Lk-mahzan shoes are running fairly true to size, which is always a bonus because it is going to take some of the guesswork out of deciding what size is going to give you the best fit. Keep in mind, however, that these booties do not come in wide sizes so if you are looking for a wide width shoe there are not going to be the best fit for you. If you are unsure as to what size you should order you can always consult a sizing chart, it is better to check one out and get the right size the first time than to order the wrong size and have to deal with the hassle of returning them to get one that will fit you better.
