The shoe is made from a water repellent, woven fabric, and has sealed seams that will keep your feet dry. This material does however make your feet warmer so these shoes may not be suitable for warmer weather conditions.

The shoes upper offers a lightweight sleek bootie-like fit that has a tall tongue and heel collar. This running shoe offers a snug midfoot fit that may not be suitable for runners with wider feet. 

A Zoom Air unit extends along the midsole achieving a smooth platform underfoot. This helps you achieve a responsive fast run and works by protecting your foot when landing. The shoe may feel a little firmer and stiff in comparison to some of the other shoes in our collection, but it is perfect if you want to achieve a long run on a cold day. 

Other features include a toggle lacing system that allows you to adjust the laces quickly. This system provides a great fit and enhances midfoot security. The heel collar and tongue include a medium level of padding, ensuring a comfy fit.

Along the forefront, the outsole includes triangles, grooves, and channels that work by dispersing water. Breathability

This shoe is not as breathable as some of the other shoes in our collection due to its water repellent, woven fabric. These shoes are probably best suited for wearing in cooler winter weather, rather than warmer weather as your feet may struggle to breathe.

Sold for a medium price this is a brilliant buy that you will not want to miss out on! This shoe has a fantastic waterproof and grip feature that allows the wearer to achieve high speeds in wet weather.

This mixed with EVA foam offers flexibility and attenuates shock. A protective layer called StoneGuard has been cleverly placed between the cushioning unit and the EVA foam. This works by preventing hard debris from hurting the bottom of your foot.

The trainer has a DuoMax Support System that helps the foot balance and reduces inward rolling. The trainer includes a gel silicone wedge that helps with shock attenuation. A further Trusstic System ensures the muscles and tendons of the footpad are not overworked. 

A changeable sock liner made from an ethylene-vinyl material provides a soft surface underfoot. The shoe also includes a form-fitting upper and is made from an open-weave mesh material that is exceptionally durable.

When it comes to style and design, unfortunately, the ASICS Men’s GT-2000 8 G-TX Running Shoe is only available in two colors being Graphite Grey/ Metropolis and Graphite Grey/ Piedmont. However, when it comes to size, the ASICS shoe comes in a variety of sizes. 

Durability

The shoe features a Gore-Tex waterproof membrane that covers the entire shoe. This membrane acts as a barrier against the wet weather, making this running shoe very waterproof. The outsole features a high abrasion rubber that shields the shoe from harsh surfaces making it exceptionally durable. The outsole also includes flex grooves, enhancing the flexibility of the shoe.

Breathability

The upper is made from an engineered mesh material that is nice and breathable. Even though the shoes feature a Gore-Tex waterproof membrane it is still highly breathable, particularly across the shoes upper. 

Value

The latest running shoe from ASICS is one of the most affordable waterproof trainers in our collection. Featuring additional technologies, you are getting a lot for your money with this shoe.

The Brooks Ghost 12 GTX features BioMoGo DNA and DNA LOFT cushioning that work together to provide a responsive ride. The DNA LOFT is a foam that provides a great level of cushioning and makes the shoe durable. The BioMoGo is cleverly positioned along with the midsole for the best results. The trainer includes a full-length segmented Crash Pad that gives the runner smoother transitions. A removable cushioned footbed provides further arch support and comfort. Additional features include a traditional lace-up system and a padded tongue and collar. 

Versatility

The Brooks Ghost 12 GTX is a stylish running shoe that will certainly grab people’s attention. Available in only two colors being Black/Aqua and Black/Ebony/Aqua, these color options are a little disappointing. However, the show does come in a variety of sizes so you can pick the correct size for you.

This running shoe features a soft blown rubber on the outsole that gives the shoe stability. It also provides a good level of grip and traction. Furthermore, the outsole features Omega Flex Grooves that provide grip and flexibility. 

Breathability

The running shoe features a Gore-Tex Protection membrane that not only makes this shoe very waterproof but also makes it highly breathable. You can therefore enjoy running in the rain while keeping your feet dry and cool. 

Value

Sold for a higher price, if you have the extra dollars to spare this is a great buy. However, if you have a stricter budget, you can probably get a cheaper waterproof running shoe and get the same features, saving quite a few dollars.

The New Balance shoe features an engineered mesh material that is light and slim fitting. The smooth and seamless fit also creates a sock-like fit making it extremely comfy to wear.

The top of the midsole features a soft layer of foam that gives a spongy, soft, and responsive layer, making it comfy to run on. The bottom layer of the midsole includes a layer of REVLite that makes the shoe sturdy, firm, and reactive. This choice of technology also makes the running shoe 30% lighter. These two layers create a comfortable running experience for the runner. 

Additional features include a padded collar and tongue that provide support and comfort. The padding cushions the ankles, heels, and the bridge of the foot. The shoe features a traditional lacing system that includes flat laces making them quick and easy to adjust. 

Versatility

These running shoes offer a simplistic design. The shoe unfortunately only comes in one color option which is a little limiting. The trainer does however come in a variety of sizes, including wide options making them suitable for all feet sizes. This shoe is highly waterproof so you can enjoy wearing it in the rain.

The New Balance 880 v9 has an outsole made of blown rubber. The outsole also features a Ndurance rubber that is a resistant abrasion and provides a good level of grip. Flex grooves in the shoe’s forefront offer further flexibility.

This men’s running shoe is one of our more affordable options in our collection. Available at a low price, this is a great buy if you are on a budget.

When it comes to design and color, this trainer comes in 13 different colors. It also comes in a variety of sizes so you can choose the correct size for your feet. 

Durability

The upper has a Gore-Tex waterproof membrane that acts as a protective barrier, preventing water from getting in through the shoe’s fabric surface. This makes the shoes suitable to wear in the rain without damaging the outer surface of the shoe. 

The trainer’s midsole unit is made from a lightweight foam that improves performance and makes running more comfortable. The outsole uses Vibram Mega grip technology that consists of a layer of grippy rubber that protects the base of the midsole from rough terrains. The material can withstand both wet and dry surfaces. If you are a runner who likes to run along rougher terrains, this material will reduce the risk of you slipping or losing balance. The outsole also features omnidirectional gripping lugs that cover a large area of the underside of the shoe, providing much-needed grip.  

Breathability

The Hoka One One Speedgoat 4 GTX features a water-resistant mesh, making the shoe highly waterproof. The mesh works by staving off sweat and moisture, keeping the shoes dry, particularly when running. The shoe also has small pores that allow air through to the foot-chamber.

Value

This running shoe from Hoka One One is one of our more expensive buys. Sold for a high price, this running shoe includes a lot of additional features however it will cost you a lot of dollars.

The Adidas Outdoor Men’s Terrex Swift has a TRAXON rubber outsole that provides a high level of grip and traction. The shoe also includes TPU overlays that give the trainer added durability as well as support.

Available for a medium price, if you want a sporty looking running shoe that will keep you dry in the rain the Adidas Outdoor Men’s Terrex Swift R2 GTX is a great pick.

This trainer comes in 3 different colors and designs including Black/Pitch Gray, Jet Gray/Surface Gray, and Track Brown/Barley. The shoe also comes in a variety of sizes so you can choose the perfect size for your feet. 

Durability

The shoe has been created using a tight weave textile, suede as well as treated leather material. These two materials provide amazing comfort and great durability. The shoe also features a waterproof boot liner that provides shielding against bad weather. The shoe features a rubber outsole and has a rubber heel overlay giving added protection. 

Breathability

This hiking shoe from Under Armour is nice and breathable so when you are out working your feet will stay cool and ventilated. 

Value

This is one of the cheapest pair of waterproof shoes in our collection. Sold for a low price if you have a limited budget this is a great buy. However, you need to be aware that this shoe is one of our more basic options so does not include special features or technologies.

This means you can confidently go running in the rain without having to worry about your feet getting wet. The shoe also has a rubber outsole that is exceptionally durable, reducing the risk of wear when out running. 

Breathability

This trainer features a breathable textile lining that makes the shoes extremely comfy but also well ventilated, allowing air to circulate through the shoe and keep your feet cool. 

Value

If you have a bigger budget to spend, this trainer is a great buy. However, it is a high price so may not be attractive to some.
