Key Features

Durability

These Timberland White Ledge offer a generous amount of tread giving plenty of room for wear on the sole, it also allows for a more cushioned step on a hiking trail. Quality leather is a durable and tougher material so it will withstand heavy weather and keep your feet warm and dry at the same time.

As a natural fiber, leather is more resilient and will withstand abrasion over time, so your feet are in good hands. The cushioned EVA footbed adds further attraction to these boots, cushioning is valued greatly on any long walk.

The Timberland White Ledge boots have a seam-sealed waterproof construction so you can count on these boots being with you for a while without withering.

Use

The Timberland White Ledge are a great walking/hiking boot. Made to withstand harsh weather and having great durability, they are an ideal walking companion. The deeper arch in the underneath outer sole gives excellent traction for this boot. There is further shock-absorbing cushioning around the collar, making these Timberland boots perfect for a mountain hike as they give great support to the ankle.

The eyelets are sturdy, secure, and have the option of continuing up the shaft for more support or lacing up lower for more breathability to the ankle. That will all depend on the type of work you are heading out on.

Design

The Timberland White Ledge boots are attractive to the eye. They are designed for comfort and stability. The leather uppers are waterproof, and the fully gusseted tongue protects from debris. They have a dual-density EVA midsole to provide comfort and extra padding. It also adds flexibility. Any boot that has the EVA midsole will help to protect your feet, a necessity when walking unsteady terrain.

They are a boot designed for purpose. Have no doubt that they shan't let you down on the trail. The materials that Timberland use for this boot is specifically those that can endure challenging terrains and long hikes.

Price

The price will always be a key player in deciding to purchase any pair of boots. Timberland is a distinguished brand; they are known for their expertise in outdoor clothing and shoes so you will not go amiss with purchasing from them.

For the quality of boots you are looking at, you are going to be spending a fair amount, and I don’t think these boots are an unfair price. I would never advise purchasing a cheap pair of boots if you are an avid walker/hiker, comfort is most important and there is a price for such luxury.

Verdict

As far as tough, durable, and strong pair of boots that shall aid you on your travels, the Timberland White Ledge are a great option. They offer comfort, affordability, and a haven for your feet to nestle in on a rainy walk.

I really like the sole on these boots as they are thick and have great traction. I find, when climbing or scrambling over rocks, it is one of the most important factors of any boot. Timberland is a great bootmaker, and I doubt these boots will dissatisfy you.

This model has real appeal, they have great cushioning, great ankle support, durable soles and, if the leathers are looked after, then there is always an option to resole them.

I find these a great choice, definitely a 5-star rating from a brilliant brand.
