Key Features

Technologies

Technologies are especially important when considering the running shoes you're going to buy.

They make all the difference and tell you whether the shoes you're looking at are going to be right for the type of running you intend to use them for.

So let's take a further look into the technologies that the Salomon XT-6 Advanced shoes offer.

Dual-Density EVA Cushioning

The XT-6 Advanced's dual-density EVA cushioning is the perfect compound to provide your feet with a cushion in every stride you take.

It will give you a better energy return and a great bounce-back important for road running.

TPU Film

TPU is a great material used in running shoes. It offers elasticity and strength and the film resists impact and abrasion offering good resistance to folding and tearing.

It's great for that continuous wear that your shoes take over multiple runs.

Mesh

Mesh material offers two things that are perfect for running; breathability and flexibility.

The mesh material is great to allow your feet to breathe and not suffocate on runs where feet tend to swell. It also allows your feet to move comfortably with a nice airflow.

Agile Chassis™ System

With the perfect balance of both cushioning and stability, the Salomon XT-6's have an agile chassis system, a real benefit over any distance.

Design

Available in a range of shades, these runners are bold and bright and sure to be seen on any trail.

Their perfect outsole with deep lugs is exactly the type of support you will want on and off the road. They are a tough cookie and will give you the exact protection and support you need.

Their lace system is made to provide further support and structure to the foot and will keep it in place while your feet pound the ground.

The rubber outsole overlays the toe to offer you that bit more toe protection against rocks and loose ground.

Comparison to Similar Trail Runners

It features mono loop mesh for a breathable structure, BioMoGo DNA midsole for long-lasting cushioning, and a trail-specific Pivot Post SystemAvailable in strikingly bright colors, you'll be the talk of the trail in these bold runners.

Verdict

If you're looking for an exceptional trail runner that will be long-lasting and give you a great ride, then you can't go wrong with Salomon and the XT-6 Advanced shoes.

Your feet will be well looked after and you will feel the benefit of these shoe technologies with every stride you make.

This model is an all-around winner for me and I would urge any real runner to invest in a decent pair of trail running shoes that will protect their feet.
