Editor’s Conclusion
Dansko, a relatively new company founded in 1990, is known for its expertise in clog making, along with other footwear. Dansko is a brand that embodies passion and commitment to the design and quality of products they make, with a mission to give people shoes that are great all day long.

So let's take a look at one of their clog styles, in particular, the XP 2.0. These are the perfect choice for people who are on their feet for long lengths of time.

Their robust and sturdy exterior is a great feature for people who may use these shoes for work purposes, mainly doctors or nurses. However, they can also be used to pair with jeans for a casual look or for a day out when you need comfort.

Key Features

I've mentioned the versatility of these shoes briefly in my intro, but this has got to be one of the features that appeal. The Dansko XP 2.0 is perfect as a work shoe for professionals such as doctors, dentists, and nurses due to their comfort and roomy construction. It is perfect for feet to have the flexibility and space it needs when you're on your feet for sustained periods.

It is also perfect for pairing with jeans, dresses, and casual clothing to give you that easy look. The materials are robust and will provide your feet with protection from the ground below you, as well as any loose ground you may encounter.

Leather Uppers

Always a winner, leather is both a durable and comfortable material that wears well over time and is giving so the foot won't feel too closed in.

They are also waterproof adding further benefit, meaning you can use them in both summer and winter.

EVA Midsole

Always a favorite in my eyes, EVA is a compound that helps disperse weight in the shoe and provides stability. This foam-like material is both lightweight, flexible and a cushion for your foot to lay on.

PU Footbed

This organic polymer is known for its resilience and compression resistance, It provides more comfort and the natural arch technology included is a stabilizer designed to bring even better arch support.

Toe Box

The roomy toe box is perfect to give your toes the space they need to wiggle around freely, rather than being suctioned down. There is nothing worse when your toes feel squashed and they become painful with the tension.

The XP 2.0 is perfect for cushioning your feet. It has a padded collar to give the ankle a more comfortable experience and the addition of memory foam means your feet will feel like they are resting on a pillow.

There is no point in denying the fact that the Dansko XP 2.0 is an expensive shoe, but they have some fantastic features that are beneficial for any type of usage and will be long-lasting.

They are crafted with experience, expertise, and knowledge so to expect anything less than 'expensive' would be foolish. What I will say is that I am positive the quality and longevity of these shoes will make their expensive price tag a distant memory.

Comparison to Similar Clogs

Alegria Classic - Another robust clog with similar features to the Dansko XP 2.0 but with the difference of being backless. These clogs offer comfort and breathability, boasting a slip-resistant PU outsole, latex-and-cork footbed, and the choice of multiple colors. The Alegria classic is a summer classic.

Klogs Footwear Mission - Very similar design to the Dansko but available in a mass of different choices, the Mission is a clog designed for all-day wearing in all environments. They benefit from a padded collar for more comfort, a latex-free footbed that is odor resistant, a Maxum slip-resistant outsole, and at just 11oz, they are extremely lightweight.

his classic Danish shoe has a mission to provide comfort and an easy ride all day long.

The one thing that I would say is that the Klogs Footwear Mission I mentioned as a good contender comes in a lot more choices.
