Style

Tamara is an elegant stiletto that is versatile enough to wear professionally and otherwise. If you enjoy looking your best then this is the ideal choice of footwear for you because its smooth contours and rounded shape make for an effortless finish. Stilettos like this one make your legs look miles long and are the perfect match for a form-fitting skirt or mini dress. The nice thing about this pair is that its heel isn’t too high so you can still walk with little effort whereas some that have a towering spike can be next to impossible to maneuver in without a struggle.
Heel

Heel

Tamara is a gorgeous stiletto heel that stands 3¼ -inches tall. There's nothing more sensual and visually appealing as a slender spike which is why it's one of the most coveted designs of ladies footwear. The 3 ¼-inches is just the right height because it isn't too hard to walk and it still gives you that desirable effect that ladies love. This kind of heel elongates the appearance of your legs and makes for a sexually charged finish that looks amazing with a skirt or mini dress, though you can pull this heel off with practically anything.

The stiletto itself dates back to the early 1900s when Andre Perugia became the first documented designer of these slender and lengthy heels. Named after the stiletto dagger, this kind of spike varies in length from around 2½ -inches up to 10-inches or more. If that sounds like a little too much for you-you'll love Tamara’s lower design that is still wearable for everyday occasions.
Upper

Upper

Don't you just love a stiletto that has a smooth and gorgeous upper? Tamara comes in a variety of colors and materials so you can choose the ones that best suit your personal sense of style. With options like silky suede and soft calf fabric, this pump offers something for everyone. It comes in a selection of attractive hues including rose, soft beige, black, and antique brush. While the soft calf may be more appropriate for professional settings, the silky suede is the ideal choice for after-hours convenes. If you're planning on attending a special occasion like a wedding, birthday, or even a graduation, there are glittery looks available too. These designs are perfect for flashy gatherings and will set you apart from the rest.

Toe

Toe

This stiletto has an almond-shaped closed toe which is better for wearing during fall and winter weather. Peep-toe designs are ideal for the warmer months because they will keep your feet cooler by letting more air flow around your skin. A closed toe also offers better protection so if you’re planning on walking somewhere that might pose a risk of injury then this is a safer option. The rounded shape helps to make your feet seem smaller which is a great aspect for ladies with larger structures. A pointed toe elongates the appearance of your feet and can draw too much attention to your lower limbs and detract attention from the rest of your outfit.
Lining

Lining

If you find that your feet get sweaty when you’re wearing pumps it’s probably because the lining material is all wrong. These ones have a leather lining material that is perfect for preventing sweat and odor-causing bacteria. The leather draws excess moisture away from the skin so it never has a chance to accumulate inside the shoe. This means that bacteria aren’t able to breed so your heels won’t end up smelly from all of the accumulated sweat. This fabric also allows for better airflow so your skin won’t get as hot and uncomfortable when you wear them for longer periods of time, not to mention it feels good against your skin too.

Sole

Sole

These heels have a synthetic sole that offers a better grip and is less noisy than most. Having solid traction is a must when you're walking in a pair of stilettos otherwise you could slip and fall, especially if it's raining outside. Noise is something that you should always take into consideration, particularly if you're planning on wearing the shoes to work. Tamara’s sole isn’t one of those noisy ones that make a clicking sound with every step so that makes them a good choice for professional settings and for ladies who just don’t enjoy wearing a noisy pair of shoes.
Footbed

Footbed

This heel offers a contoured foam footbed that helps to lessen the aches and pains associated with wearing high heels. Anyone who's ever tried walking around for a few hours in a pair of spikes knows all too well how uncomfortable it can be. Tamara is a well-designed option that puts your comfort first and offers supple padding for the delicate underside of the foot. The additional cushioning also helps to better support the arch which is one of the most susceptible areas to injury and irritation. The cushion material absorbs the waves of shock which travel through the feet and up the legs with every step. By absorbing some of this impact it leaves your feet and lower limbs feeling more refreshed and rejuvenated when you kick your heels off the end of the night.
Fit

Fit

These heels run fairly true to size with most women saying that their normal size feels fine. For ladies with wider feet, Tamara comes in both normal and wide widths, though the wide options are only available with sizes seven through nine. The downside to this one is that it doesn’t come in half sizes so you’ll have to choose up or down if you wear a half size normally. It's always nice to have the choice of a half size because most people actually wear one. It can be tough to find a full size that fits just right so be sure to check the measurements of your foot against the shoes.
Weather-Resistance

Weather-Resistance

No matter which upper fabric you choose, it will come pretreated with a water-repellent product. It also utilizes seam seal technologies to prevent any water from getting inside the shoe. Unfortunately, this is only available in select styles so not every option is going to give you that seam-sealed protection. Most shoes of this style don't offer much in the way of weather-resistance so this is a nice bonus with Taryn Rose footwear.
Comfort

Comfort

Considering the style of the Tamara heel it’s a reasonably comfortable pair. Most ladies find that it fits well and doesn’t pinch or cramp the toes as some pumps do. Its heel height is also a reasonable level so it won’t make it too hard to walk naturally. One issue some women had is the break-in period which can be quite an uncomfortable few wears. Though once they have time to conform to the shape of your foot they tend to even out and get more enjoyable to wear. After they’re broke in you shouldn’t have any trouble with them being uncomfortable.
Bottom Line

Bottom Line

Overall, the Tamara stiletto from Taryn Rose is an excellent choice. It has an elegant silhouette and an almond-shaped toe that help to make your feet seem smaller than they actually are. A 3 1/4-inch spike makes them fairly easy to walk in unlike some pairs that have a towering heel. You're able to choose between one of two upper materials and can pick from various stunning colorways to suit your style. Tamara's leather lining is a wonderful aspect because it really helps to control sweating and odors by wicking excess moisture away from the skin.

If you don't like the constant clicking that high heels often make then this is a good choice because its synthetic sole is nice and quiet. It also helps to keep you steady on your feet because it's quite a grippy material. Tamara's padded footbed helps to support your arch and prevents pain in the delicate underside of the foot. One of the downsides to this pair is that some ladies found that it takes a few times to break to them in. Once you get past the first couple of wears they are pretty comfortable overall though.

I chose to rate the Tamara fairly high based on hours of research and careful review of the best and worst aspects. For the most part, this is a great choice and will fast become one of your favorite go-to pairs thanks to its versatile design and overall wearability.
