Heel

Heel

The Walker Boot boasts a 2 ¼ inch wooden heel that's perfect for busy ladies on the move. Its chunky shape makes walking that much easier as we all know how difficult it can be trying to maneuver in a pair with a skinny spike. For a little added luxury Walker’s heel is wrapped in stacked leather which adds a touch of distinction to its silhouette. A stacked heel gives the illusion of several pieces of material being stacked together to form the block when in reality it's just one solid piece. This look is super fashionable and always on trend and can often be seen gracing the top runways around the globe.
Upper

Upper

A gorgeous upper made from Italian calf suede make this boot an upscale choice of footwear. Its elegant finish is perfect for nearly any occasion and looks incredible with either a pantsuit or pair of skinny trousers. Elasticized side gore panels help to keep this slip-on pair perfectly in place and prevent any flopping or sliding about. Its rear pull tab allows for effortless on-off wearability so you can get out and go that much faster. Ladies really seem to enjoy the somewhat plain appearance that the Walker boot has to offer and the fact that it can be matched with nearly kind of apparel or accessory. This is a well-rounded and adaptable design that is made better by its slightly minimalistic upper appearance.

Style

Style

This ankle boot is the perfect addition to any wardrobe! It offers smooth lines and quality craftsmanship that help to make this pair a must-have for fashionable women. Its calfskin leather upper and stacked block heel only adds to the luxurious looks that the Walker Boot delivers and make for a professionally chic design. Whether you’re headed to the office or the after party these boots will carry you where you need to go and will have you looking your best every step of the way.
Support

Support

The Walker Boot was designed to provide moderate arch support. This is a key element of any pair of footwear because your arch is a delicate area. The arch holds most of our bodies weight with every step we take and also absorbs the waves of shock that travel through our feet. If you think about it that’s a lot of pressure put on this tiny area of the body. Without added support, you’re more susceptible to aches and pains in that area and could even end up with a collapsed arch which is just no fun at all! Luckily this boot was made to help lessen the strain and stress on this spot and actually cradles your arch to help protect it while you walk.

Brand

Brand

Rag & Bone hails from New York where they started making brand name apparel back in 2002. They’re notorious for their mix of British heritage and modernized design elements that result in an edgy yet inspiring finish. This label is driven by a deep wanting to create beautiful and well-made clothing, accessories, and footwear. Their looks can often be seen on celebrities and fashion runways around the world which have helped to establish their staying power. Quality and attention to detail is their philosophy and it really shows in their unique looks that are ideal for nearly any kind of occasion.
Shaft

Shaft

A 5 ½ inch shaft makes the Walker a perfect pair of ankle booties. This style is incredibly popular and with a good reason, not only does it look effortlessly chic with nearly any apparel, but it's also more supportive for the delicate ankle bone. Ankle boots often dominate catwalks around the world and look perfect with dresses, skirts, and of course a sleek pair of trousers. If you're wearing them with pants try tucking in the hems loosely to pull off a slouch effect that's good for ladies with calves of any shape or size.
Fit

Fit

Despite these boots’ incredible design features it still has a few flaws. One such flaw is that it does not run true to size. In fact, most wearers find that it’s at least a half to full size larger than it should be. If you have small or narrow shaped feet you should definitely consider choosing a size that’s smaller than what you normally buy, otherwise, you might find yourself with a little too much wiggle room. The toe is also quite wide so ladies with narrow feet might have trouble with this pair.
Colors

Colors

If you're looking for an assortment of colors the Walker boot may not be the best choice for you. Even though it is available in a gorgeous camel suede that comes to a smooth desert tan finish, Walker still lacks in exciting shades. It comes in only a few choices which include black and that stunning camel suede. One would hope to see a little more variety especially in a higher-priced pair like this one. The limited colorways don't hamper your ability to match these boots with nearly any outfit because both options are neutral and look good with almost every other color. It would've been nice to see some darker browns along with a more vibrant option but overall this is still a fashionable pair.
Price

Price

As with all luxe apparel, the Walker Boot is a bit on the pricy side. But, if you don’t mind paying a little more for a fabulous pair of footwear than this is a great choice to consider. It’s made from high-quality Italian calfskin and offers a smooth exterior that will add some serious class to any attire. Ladies who enjoy looking their best will love the way this boot blends with practically any style of clothing and how it’s versatile enough to wear while you’re at work or for after-hours get-togethers.
Weatherproofing

Weatherproofing

Another improvement which could have been made with the Walker boot would have been if it was weather resistant. This pair doesn't hold up well in wet and rainy weather and will leave your feet feeling damp and soggy inside your boots. Some leathers are pretreated and can actually be quite water resistant, but this pair falls short on waterproofing. For a pair that retails at a price like this one, it would've been nice to have seen some weatherproofing features that would've helped to make it more of a year-round pair.
Bottom Line

Bottom Line

Overall, the Walker Boot from Rag & Bone is a nice choice for most occasions. It's 2 ½-inch chunky heel is wrapped in leather and offers a stacked appearance that’s super stylish. Its Italian calf suede upper gives an air of distinction and a classic appearance that makes it worthy of being labeled ‘high-end.’ This is a great pair of ankle booties that look incredible with nearly any kind of apparel including slacks, skirts, and of course, it’s LBD approved!

Rag & Bone hails from New York where they’ve been making waves since debuting in 2002. This brand is noted for its mix of British heritage and modern design and can be found gracing runways all over the world.

One of the downsides to this pair is that the sizes run large and ladies with smaller feet might have a hard time finding a perfect fit. It also comes in limited colorways which really detracts from its overall appeal. This boot is a bit on the pricey side and leaves some ladies questioning whether or not it's worth its exaggerated price tag.
