PUMA Vikky Stacked Review
It was back in 1924 when Rudolf and his younger brother, Adolf von Wilhelm Dassler founded a shoe factory in Herzogenaurach, Germany. The brothers started their company in their mother’s laundry, but during this time, electricity supplies in the town were very low, so they sometimes had to use pedal power from a stationary bicycle in order to make the business operational.
But the brother’s trip to Berlin for the 1936 Summer Olympics proved to be a great decision since they managed not just to persuade the American sprinter to but their sneakers on, but also to endorse their merchandise. This was the first sponsorship for an African American in the history of the sport, and Owens won four gold medals at the event. Business soon boomed, and the Dasslers were selling 200,000 pairs of shoes annually before World War II.
However, in 1948, After increasingly different views of how to run the business, the brothers split the business and Adolf founded the rival sportswear company – Adidas. It was named after his childhood nickname Adi.
The Companies’ rivalry exists to this day, but for now, let’s look back at the Vikky Stacked sneaker by Puma.
Only low-rise upper
The low-rise upper looks wonderfully with a pair of low-rise socks, but again several of the customers complained that because of that, the ankle support is minimal. Oh, and last but certainly not least, the Puma logo can be found on two separate parts of the sneaker. The first visible logo is on the tongue of the sneaker, while the second is on the lateral side of the upper.
Secondly, the quality of the materials has become a badge of honor when it comes to the reputation of the Puma merchandise. Puma doesn’t cut corners when to the choosing of the materials used in the shoe manufacturing, and the suede leather and fine durable rubber are one of the best possible picks here.
Regardless if you got for the elegant and effortless black upper sneaker, or you chose some other with slightly more playful colors, they’ll shine through and will definitely make your outfit pop. And if you’re working in a non-restrictive and more relaxed work environment, you can add them to your daily work attire. A smart blazer and a pencil skirt can really look great if you’re wearing these sneakers. The PUMA Vikky Stacked are great for every sporty type of a woman, and for every lady that’s looking for an art leisure accessory for a laidback day filled with a laidback style.
Generally, the Puma Vikky SoftFoam is highly recommended, not because of the fantastic minimalism used in the design, but because of the comfort and durability that these shoes can provide. And that comfort really comes from the entire sneaker. It’s hard to pinpoint which part of the sneaker is mostly responsible for comfort since all of them contribute evenly. But it there are some flaws to point out, it would have to be the fact that the low-rise upper offers little support for the ankles and there’s very little flexibility in these sneakers. They’re snug, firm and durable, but the flexibility is not one of the strongest suits.
However, these are some amazing sneakers. You’ll never be sorry for purchasing them and they’ll definitely become one of your strongest assets in your shoe closet. It doesn’t matter if you’re more of a sporty lady or you prefer more elegant choices. The PUMA Vikky sneakers are a must-have for every lady.
