Hugo Boss Low-Profile Knitted Review
The Hugo Boss company got its start in Germany in 1923, where the fashion icon is still based today. They started with the production of shirts, work clothes, jackets, sportswear, and raincoats. In the early 30s, Boss went bankrupt but made a deal with creditors and was left with very little to start again, but hard work and perseverance paid off and he made a come back designing and manufacturing uniforms for the Nazi Party and other German government organizations. Hugo’s involvement in the war stripped him of his right to run the business, and that honor went to his son-in-law where he broadened their production and sales skyrocketed. They have been expanding ever since and become a brand many customers have grown to love.
The Hugo Boss Low-Profile Knitted sneakers are part of the Boss Green line of footwear, previously known as Boss Sport, bringing you a pair of casual shoes with a sporty and stylish look. They can offer you a decent amount of comfort with a great look. They might seem like they are a bit on the expensive side, but you will actually save some money in the long run since you won’t have to replace them for quite a while thanks to the incredible durability. They give you a soft feel and supportive fit to provide you with an all-around great pair of shoes that your feet will appreciate at the end of a long day.
High price tag
Lack of color options
The uppers feature a rounded toe that has a little rubber reinforcement that will not only help give them a long life span but also give you a little extra protection, just in case you come in contact with a rock or something else hard while you are out and about. They have a traditional lacing system with blind eyelets to give you a secure and comfortable fit. Finally, they have a padded tongue and collar for just a little bit of added comfort.
The Boss's are also going to give you an adequate amount of support under your arches. The midsole is created with lightweight EVA foam to give you a decent amount of underfoot cushioning to provide you with moderate arch support. Many customers have commented that they felt what was offered was adequate and had no complaints. The insole inside the foot chamber is padded, so you will get some cushioning there, however, if you find that there is not enough for your liking you could have a problem as the insole is stationary and cannot be removed and replaced with one of your liking. If you have high arches or flat feet, then they might not be the best option for you, but if you have normal arches, then these should be just fine.
You will have a couple of different color options when purchasing the shoes, although not as many as some would have like to have seen. There might not be a lot of options for you, but many customers are satisfied with what they do have and have opted to purchase more than one pair so they could have them in multiple colors.
The Boss's have a pretty steep price tag at first glance, but consider the fact that they are not going to fall apart quickly and that means they will be an overall decent investment. Spend a large lump sum of money on one pair of shoes or spend a small amount multiple times on many pairs? Many people would choose the former.
