Comfort

Comfort

Reviewers had surprisingly positive feelings towards the comfort of this western boot by Fergalicious. While a few said that on the next pair they buy (yes, they were already planning their next pair) would be a half size larger to accommodate inserts, for the most part, they found the inside cushioning to be sufficient for comfortable wear. Higher boots can really kill the calves, ball of the foot, and arch of the foot, not to mention the heel! When constructing this Lundry, Fergalicious brought together smart elements to create a comfortable shoe that still looked phenomenal. The heel’s position and width alleviate pressure while the padding gives an extra bit of softness to the wearer’s foot. The generous calve won’t squeeze and constrict, which also gives a lot more room for the ankle to naturally move while wearing this nearly knee-high boot option. It is so surprising to see a high-heeled boot be this praised for its comfort, so it might be one of those situations where you’ll need to just find out for yourself why it's so beloved.
Durability

Durability

While it may seem hard to believe, one thing is for sure, people who bought this boot had it for years. While some of that could clearly be for the sole reason is that a boot such as this isn’t going to be for every day; though it would be amazing to have outfits that called for high-heeled boots for every day of the week. However, it seems to have a lot more to do with Fergalicious and their attention to detail and dedication to making long-lasting products. Those who purchased the Lundry seemed to be regular patrons of the Fergalicious brand, buying multiple different styles due to them all sharing the same quality. This may not seem important but it has gotten more and more rare to find truly consistent manufacturing when it comes to footwear recently. That is because a lot of companies split up there labor among multiple warehouses that have different quality standards. Fergalicious maintains consistent styles and quality and their customers take note. So many reviewers of the Lundry were absolutely enamored with its longevity, for good reason. They said it looked just as good after long-term wear as it did straight out of the box!
Fit

Fit

Finally, a boot that is true to size! While so many boots are a hit and miss with the fit, especially knee-high ones, this Fergalicious Lundry actually fits exactly as it says it should. There is gore at the top of the boot to accommodate a more generous calf. They also come in wide-calf! For people who love high-rise boots but really struggle to find ones to fit them, the Lundry is a saving grace. It can be so hard to find something that will zip or pull up over your calf, even if they’re average size. A lot of knee-high boots tend to run slim in the calf, so one that doesn't and gives you some stretch is always fantastic! The shoe itself seems to be an exact fit, so some did size up to fit thicker socks in the winter and fall. That is completely up to personal preference though, if you are not counting on a shoe such as this for warmth at all, then your normal sizing should be more than sufficient to fit comfortably.
Heel

Heel

Heels on boots are so sexy. This sultry look perches atop a two-and-a-half-inch heel that is to die for. Not only is this a completely sleek look, but the stacked block heel has a whole lot of function as well. Block heels help to distribute weight more evenly on the heel, reducing pressure and pain when wearing the shoe. The positioning of this heel, in particular, sits further in towards the ball of the foot. This creates an overall more comfortable wear, which is completely indispensable. What is easy to love about the Lundry is the heel almost has a peek-a-boo look to it. Cuffed construction may end where the heel starts, but it makes the heel height a bit more mysterious when you see them on. This effect elongates the leg very well and creates an attractive optical illusion. Though you can expect some discomfort when first buying this shoe, after breaking in, many found this high-heeled boot to be the perfect complement to their favorite fall looks.
Price

Price

One thing is for sure: high-style at a low-price is something to absolutely gush over. Reviewers really loved the price of this Lundry by Fergalicious, and when you find out how inexpensive they are, you can’t really blame them. Anyone who has gone fall boot shopping knows that knee-high boots devastate the wallet. Many brands don’t offer options in the double digits, much less under sixty to eighty dollars. It can be super frustrating to find boots that you are going to be able to afford. Well, this Lundry by Fergalicious completely breaks that mold. They are so completely affordable. It is really easy to justify picking out a pair of the Lundry’s because their price is incomparable to the market price of similar styles. If you’re dying to get into a pair of knee-high boots but didn’t think you’d be able to afford them, you need to check out Fergalicious before you get discouraged. The Lundry’s little details and even smaller price tag are total selling points for this adorable cuffed-style boot.
Stability

Stability

This is a high-heeled boot, so you can’t really expect fabulous stability. The construction of the shoe, and the stacked heel specifically, does help to stabilize the wearing of the shoe, but not completely. In general, any style like this is going to be easy to lose your stability in. Stability is generally achieved through things like deep heel-cups or anatomical footbeds, two things the Lundry is far from having. Fergalicious’ Lundry is heel height that will lean the wearer forward a bit, giving their legs and butt a boost and improving posture, but not really aiding the stability at all. The thick heel will be very helpful in keeping you upright and stable, as will the more-than-adequate traction, but don’t think that a boot such as the Lundry will have the effect of an extremely stable support shoe, or you will be disappointing. Just love this Fergalicious knee-high for what it is because this boot really deserves to have its good qualities recognized.
Style

Style

This is the kind of boot that’ll make them say “hubba, hubba” at first glance. While it can look pretty reserved and classic, the cuff detailing and a peek at the back reveals it's so much more than practical. Knee-high boots have come back in a really big way. While some opt to follow the trend with riding boots, many of us seek something different when trying to find a style perfect for us. This Fergalicious option is definitely something unique and different. The chunky heel is totally on-trend right now, and the cuffing is slightly different but not so different that it makes the boots clash with different outfit styles. Bold-stitching helps to elongate the leg by adding addition vertical lines to the calf portion of the boot. The Lundry is a totally vampy style, but the brown tones make it also seem like a wholesome choice to wear in autumn to spice up an ensemble of your favorite cable-knit sweater and most comfortable jeans.
Support

Support

This is a high-heeled boot so the expectations for support are pretty low. You will be better off in this than in a stiletto, though, that is for sure. The heel is only between two and three inches, so it really doesn’t strain and cause too much pain on the foot at all. This also offers some arch support because the heel-to-drop isn’t overly extreme, which can overextend the foot and cause discomfort. That is where the support elements end though. Unless you size up to make room for the ball of the foot support, if you struggle with even chunky block heels, this Lundry might not be supportive enough for you. The block heel really does change how you can wear heels, just not enough to make any heels wearable if you need a certain level of support in any shoe you wear. To be fair, reviewers really loved the inside cushioning of this shoe, and you could say that the calf and wrapped around cuff detailing may help to support the ankles when wearing this style, but that is more a side effect of how the shoe is styled than it is a testament to its supportiveness.
Traction

Traction

Boots need great traction! We all know this and yet we buy boots that time after time disappoints us. So many boot options are completely lacking in traction, with many boasting a ball of the foot outsole section with almost no grip or texture. That is completely unacceptable. Though this is commonplace in heels, high-heeled boots are often worn in cooler weather and while outdoors, so there really shouldn’t be skimping on the traction. Fergalicious recognized that boots need to make you not feel on edge every time you step out in them. The outsole of the Lundry by Fergalicious is rubber. Rubber is a fantastic material for soles, especially those that will be worn in cooler weather. Rubber is virtually water-resistant, making it not a concern if it starts to rain when you’re rocking these on a night out. The horizontal texture on the heel is typical for heels, but on the ball of the foot there is a ton of dimpled texture and then three horizontal sections that add more contrast to best make contact with the ground. The Lundry is a totally fabulous boot for a night out.
Upper

Upper

Let’s talk about this fabulous upper. The material is synthetic but it has the look of an aged leather that is just gorgeous. This gorgeous upper is lined with a super soft material that won’t rub or bother your calves. The cuff detailing is current and adorable. It helps to elongate the leg and also adds to the additional style of this knee-high style. Seams on the front and side of the Lundry are aesthetically pleasing to the eye and make the back of the shoe that much more interesting. Amidst all the clean lines and sharp details, is the laidback braided detailing of the back of the shoe. You can use the inner zipper to get it on and off, then watch as you draw the gaze of the crowd due to the unique lacing of the back. This braiding detail adds an almost corset-like element to this Lundry by Fergalicious. The sexy appearance of the design going up the back of the calf is truly the star of the show here.
Bottom Line

Bottom Line

There are plenty of details to love about the Fergalicious Lundry. If you love knee-high boots and unique style, you can take this Fergalicious option home at a more-than-fair price. Being able to fit wide-calves totally expands the scope of who can rock a sexy knee-high. Great traction and a padded insole make this shoe as wearable as it is fashion-forward. This is a boot that can be styled in new ways for so many occasions, it will be a great new piece to add to your cooler-weather footwear.
