Bose QuietComfort 35 II Review
The Bose QuietComfort 35 II headphones are an all around great product that customers love. There are tons of features that you can take advantage of that makes your life a little easier. You can use your Google Assistant, or the built-in Alexa, with just the push of a button. You can control your music and/or phone calls with the buttons on the earcups as well, eliminating the need to take your phone out of your pocket.
The sound quality is impressive, but even better is the noise canceling technology. There are three settings for this so you can choose how much of the ambient noise you want to drown out while you’re out and about. Whether you’re heading to work, going on vacation, or spending some time at the gym, you will be able to take pleasure in the sound of your music while blocking out the noises from the outside world.

Activities
Yes, you can easily use these headphones at the gym, or when heading out for a workout of any kind, however, they might not be the best option. They are going to stay put, and you will not have any problems with them sliding off of your head, and the sound is excellent and will help you get pumped for the workout, but the problem lies elsewhere. The issue with wearing them to the gym comes from the padded earcups. They aren't meant to handle moisture and sweat very well, more specifically, they will start to smell since you cannot clean them properly. If you're planning on using them for your physical activities, just keep in mind that they may begin to develop an odor that is nigh impossible to get out.
Features
There is a microphone built in as well as buttons on the earcup that you can use to control your music. You can change the song you are listening to and adjust the volume, all without the need to take your phone out of your pocket. You can also make and receive phone calls with ease, thanks to the built-in mic and the ability to answer the phone right from the headphones, again not having to take your phone out to answer your call.
Also, thanks to the microphone, you have access to your voice assistant. Whether using Google Assitant, Siri, or even the built-in Alexa, you can use your voice commands with ease, without having to take your phone out of your pocket. You simply press the action button on the earcup, and your smart assistant is ready to listen and help. You can even have your assistant read your text message aloud for you, and you can respond, without having to take your phone out.
Those of you who have NFC enabled devices will be happy to know that you can connect your headphones to your device by just touching the two together. You just have to tap the headphones to your device, and you will be ready to listen.
You can use these earphones in conjunction with the Bose Connect app that will let you fiddle with the settings and update the headphones when the time comes. You can personalize your sound settings for an optimal listening experience. Through the app, you can even choose to map the buttons on the earcups to do different things. For example, if you don't want to use the Google Assistant feature, you can choose to change the action button to a toggle for the noise cancellation feature instead.
Sound Quality
Through the Bose Connect app, you can change the settings and mess with the sound equalizer so you can find something that works the best with the type of music you listen to.
Not only are they going to sound great, but they do a fantastic job at keeping sound out. There are three different noise canceling settings that you can take advantage of. You can turn it off or switch it from high to low depending on the noise level around you and what you are looking for.
Connectivity
If you have a phone or other device that is NFC enabled, you can also connect the two by just tapping them together. One quick tap and you will be connected and ready to go.
If you find yourself with a low or dead battery, you can always connect to your phone or music device with a 3.5mm AUX cord. It will just give you a passive connection, and you can't take advantage of the noise canceling or smart assistant features, but you will still be able to connect to your media player and listen to your music in a pinch.
Comfort
Additionally, they will not clamp too hard on your head. They are tight enough to keep the headphones in place but not so close that they will squeeze too much, causing discomfort in the long run. Also, the headband itself has padding so it doesn't put a lot of pressure on top of your head, which can lead to discomfort after a while.
The headphones are lightweight, which is always a plus. It doesn't feel like you're walking around all day with extra weight sitting on your head, which is very much appreciated by many consumers. The weigh in at only 8.3 ounces, which is about average for a pair of lightweight headphones.
Style
There are a couple of colors that you can choose from so you are sure to get a pair that you love. You can get black, silver, or rose gold. Something else that some customers might want to take advantage of, however, is for an extra cost you can opt to personalize your headphones, customizing the colors so you can have just what you want, how you want them.
Durability
They have a solid build and use high-quality materials so they will not break and fall apart prematurely. Of course, you are going to want to take care of them still and not throw them around. They do come with a carrying case that can be used to store the headphones so you can increase the overall lifespan of them.
Power Source
Overall, customers love the long battery life, and it doesn't take long to give it a full charge. If your battery is low, you can plug it in for about an hour, and you will be good to go for about another 20 hours or so. The great thing is that it uses a standard micro-USB charging cable which makes it easier if you misplace your charge, you can replace it easily without spending a lot of money on the replacement.
If you find yourself with a dead battery and you still want to be able to listen to your music you can plug in an AUX cord into the headphones and the other end into your devices 3.5mm jack so you can still listen, even with the battery dead. You won't get to take advantage of all the features the product has to offer, but you will always be able to listen to your music.
