BCBGeneration Lana Review
BCBGeneration is basically a modernized version of the Max Azaria’s legacy and vision. Created in Paris, and developed in Los Angeles, the BCBGeneration branch BCBG has a great target.
The much younger stylish clientele is the main focus of the company. The younger generations that are still exploring their own style, but are heavily influenced by the classics of the past. While the BCBG provided classic designs with retro influences, BCBGeneration looks to the future.
However, let’s look at one particularly stylish pair of shoes. A pair that so wonderful, and elegant that it looks like it belongs to the Barbie’s dream shoe closet. A shoe that features a mix of textures, materials, and styles. A shoe that looks so scandalous that it might as well be named after the notorious Lana Turner. Yes, the BCBGeneration Lana is a subject of this review, and we hope you’ll like it.
Both the review and the shoe.

However, one of the disadvantages of having a plastic outsole, especially in a shoe that has such high heel is the mere fact that it’s not very low slip performance and very poor insulation. You’ll have to be careful when wearing the Lana pumps, as they don’t have the stability that’s needed in a shoe. But more on that later in another segment of this review. For not it’s worth mentioning that the stiletto heel that sits nicely at the back of the shoe, it’s wrapped with the same material that’s used in the upper.
The polyethylene covers the toes and the heel of the shoe with a darker faux leather complexity, while the thermoplastic polyethylene is used in the middle of the shoe. And in contrast with the darker tones, this part of the upper is see-through. Both materials balance each out nicely without interfering with the style, and both are used in the same amount. It’s 50-50 for both materials, but the placement is very different. The clear polyethylene on the side of the upper gives the shoes a sexy look without revealing too much, and without the shoes looking tacky. It’s a great way to feel sexy.
The classic lines of the upper speak volumes. it makes the shoes timeless and effortlessly amazing. The light padding in the insole is the only source of comfort, stability, while the use of plastic and polyethylene will prove to be quite the challenge for the pain. These shoes do have a high heel, both slip-on and pointy toe types of silhouette and those things are enough to make them uncomfortable. But when there’s polyethylene present in the upper the pain can really cause a problem before the shoes are broken in enough to be wearable for a lengthy period of time.
