Linz: South Bank Danube
Nice easy run from bridge to bridge and back again. Flat, open, nice scenery. A bit open if windy.
Raab-Heim - The Big Kahuna
A running route that is mostly flat and gives you a choice of track or grass for a fair way. The bridge crossings at the Niebelungen bridge are fairly obvious and the distances are pretty accurate. With all of the other Raab-Heim runs, you can use this to put together a 'mental toughness' program - because running to a turn-back point that is on your way home is mentally tough. :)
Raab-Heim: Europe's Best Drinking Water
Simple run that gets you off the roads in the first kilometre and onto a really good track. Drop down the lower track when you want to as it's pretty much the same distance. You stop and turn around at the small wooden tribute to Europe's Best Drinking Water (2010) on the far side of the bridge.
Linz - Raab-Heim River Hugger
Hugs the river for most of the way. A bit more secluded and with more natural trails. It's a little isolated in the stretch where you run that big curve towards the river but Linz is very safe.
