North Oro Valley #1

Oro Valley, AZ, USA

11.3 miles. 325 foot elevation range. Complete circle - start anywhere, ride clockwise. (Note: The easiest way to remember the route between La CaƱada and Rancho Vistoso is that you'll come to 3 "T" intersections. At those intersections turn left, then right, then left.)

2.75 miler -

Oro Valley, AZ, USA

45 foot elevation range (but down/up twice). The route is designed for doing timed rides (e.g., speed drills): 6 turns; 1 stop sign; no crossing of major streets; route ends at (the far end of) the 3rd driveway on the right leaving plenty of room after that to slow down. The one stop sign at Alamo Canyon and Desert Glen has good visibility and very little traffic. The only place requiring caution is at the beginning of the ride. You need to move into the left car lane on Sun City Blvd. just before Del Webb. Watch out for cars coming up behind you on Sun City and turning right on Del Webb.

4.0 Miler #1 -

Oro Valley, AZ, USA

180 ft altitude range, most of the climb in the second half. Good for Sun City residents who can start from any of the 3 rec. centers. Starting [across the street] from Catalina Vista would put most of the climbing in the first half of the ride.
