Patterson Park.
Basically taking the trail to Patterson Park and then looping back home along a cycle street and then the trail.
Rumble street
Very simple, mostly flat, sidewalk on one side of the road. This is a simple no brainer, just to run down the street and back.
Rumble to Gray
Again simple run to help calculate the distances for the short runs.
Rumble to Patterson
again fairly simple, just to help calculate my runs.
Edmonds, route 2
Run, simple, two major hills, the rest flat. This one is really easy to remember, no getting lost, lots of flat terrain but really really boring! traffic is fairly high on the marine dr part but the rest is okay. Both streets going south and north are very steep and feel quite long, I would suggest going a bit further to 19th or 20th and taking Griffiths back up as it's not nearly as steep.
Edmonds, route 1 easy
Run, easy, hilly. Flat to huge, steep downhill then gradual slope back to Griffith and Rumble. Lots of cars, not much to see, the sidewalk is only on certain sides of the street on Griffith which is a bit of a pain because you have to pay attention to where you need to be. Overall fairly easy run.
Long, interesting, hilly
I used to LOVE this route, you can add or remove a street in the beginning or end (change cook for moss, or newton for beach dr at the end, or add on a run to willows beach). This will help to add or remove a km or two. The only annoying thing is that there is a few really steep hills, they are good though because they are mostly short steep hills. The views are obviously really nice, low traffic flow, low people flow on this end of beach dr.
