Head up Vancouver Street to see the Christchurch Cathedral and Pioneer Square before window shopping along Fort Street's Antique Row. Take a right down Joan Crescent to check out Craigdarroch Castle before heading back to Parkside along Rockland Avenue.
This scenic 5.2 km out-and-back loop route takes you past Victoria's historic Ross Bay Cemetery, along scenic Dallas Road and beside Beacon Hill Park. Pass through old Victorian neighbourhoods as you run down Fairfield Road towards Ross Bay Cemetery. Once you've reached Dallas Road, enjoy the ocean views and kite boarders as you make your way up to Clover Point. After Clover Point, the terrain is relatively flat. Run alongside Beacon Hill Park on the chip trail and follow the side streets back to Parkside.
Take this 8km Loop for a Tour de Victoria! Head into the heart of downtown Victoria, past the Fairmont Empress, the Inner Harbour and the Parliament Buildings before setting out on Dallas Road alongside the ocean. Turn left down Moss Street (if you go on a Saturday from May - October you can stop at the Moss St. Market and pick up some fresh, local produce along the way) and left on Fairfield to head back to Parkside.
Scenic run on sidewalks and chip trails through Beacon Hill Park. Undulating but easy route with one steady climb up to the top of Beacon Hill. Once you reach the top of the hill, cut left down a chip trail beside the petting zoo to get back to Circle Drive.
This 10.14 km loop route has it all if you want to see the heritage sites of Victoria! Run through Beacon Hill Park, along the Pacific Ocean coastline, next to the Ross Bay Cemetery and past Craigdarroch Castle, the Government House and the Christchurch Cathedral!
