The 1K is started just before the 5K to keep the kids in a safe environment. It has an adult in lead with a “sweeper" to follow.
The 1K is for 8 years old and under only, and is completely free. The 5K is open to all - the cost is $15.00 per entry.
The 5K has a nice hill in the beginning and one in the middle, but the rest of the course is flat and is one of the most beautiful settings you will ever run through.
We have a free raffle with great prizes.
Medals are given to all finishers along with trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in all catagories - 1K and 5K.
