Bolder Options Partners with TCOF

This race is partnering with Bolder Options; an organization devoted to mentoring programs for youth. Bolder Options is an activity-based, one-on-one mentoring program for youth aged 10-14 which uses physical activity, academic tutoring, goal setting, healthy life skills meetings, and volunteerism to build self-esteem and garner a trusting relationship with a supportive adult.

More info about Bolder Options

The comprehensive mentoring model coordinates family, community, and school resources in a united effort to support kids who are at-risk of becoming involved in delinquent or unhealthy behaviors. This year, Bolder Options was named an expert mentoring program by the Mentoring Partnership of Minnesota – one of only four with this designation in a statewide association of 400.

To Support Bolder Options

To support our Friends at Bolder Options, we are collecting new running shoes/shorts & pants (adult sizes) for youth who actively participate in the program. Bring your donation to the Bolder Options booth on race day.
