18th Annual "Run for the Bear" - 10K Run and 5K Walk/Run benefiting Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation is Sunday, September 30th
First 500 registrants receive T-shirts & race bags. Registration fees are non-refundable. FREE Pancake Breakfast for all participants. Non-participants may purchase breakfast the day of the race: $5 Adults, $3 Children (11 & under). AWARDS/RESULTS: Awards will be presented to the top male/female in the 5K & 10K Runs and the top three male/female finishers in each division: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 & over. Race results will be posted at the event. Final results are then posted on Active.com, Runner’s Edge and CARA websites. Our race timer will provide “state of the art” RFID timing technology from ChronoTrack Systems for fast, accurate results. FUNDRAISING: Every 3½ minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer. That's two classrooms full of kids diagnosed each school day! Only with your help can we ultimately put an end to this devastating disease.
