Make history in Prairie du Chien by participating in the 6th Annual Prairie du Chien Half Marathon and 5K Race! Join runners and walkers from all over the country on a scenic 13.1 mile or 5K route in Wisconsin’s second oldest community. Run past the beautiful Mississippi River, historic sites, residential areas, and view the majestic river bluffs. Set your own personal record on our scenic, flat course.
COURSE:
The race starts and ends on beautiful St. Feriole Island. For route details visit www.pdchalfmarathon.com. Both races will start at 7:30 a.m. The half marathon course will remain open until 10:30 a.m. Aid stations and medical personnel will not be available after that time. No bikes, strollers, or roller blades allowed. (Strollers may be allowed on 5K course only) Race will be held rain or shine.
AID STATIONS:
Aid stations will be located along the route to provide participants with water and electrolyte replenishing fluids. Post event food and beverages will be provided for all racers.
FACILITIES:
Bathroom facilities will be available at start, finish, and in several places along the course. Parking will be available near course start and finish. Police and medical personnel will be on hand throughout the course.
AWARDS:
Finisher medals will be given to all participants who complete the Half Marathon or 5K. An awards ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m. with prizes awarded to the 1st place male and female finishers overall. In addition, medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers in each age category. Age groups will be 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, etc., up to 70 and above. All participants will receive a T-shirt and goodie bag.

5K Early Registration (by April 1): $25.00 April 2 - Race Day: $30.00 - NO REFUNDS

PACKET PICK-UP:
Packet pick-up will take place on Friday evening, May 4, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Visit www.pdchalfmarathon.com for updates about weekend events. Race day packet pick up will be near the race start beginning at 6:00 a.m. Race day registration ends at 7:00 a.m.

In Person Registration open until 7AM on Race Day
Online Registration ends on Thursday, May 3rd at 12 Midnight (9PM Pacific Time). Registrations will be accepted at the packet pick up Friday night at City Hall, and until 7 AM on Saturday morning near the start line.
