The Sandy Beach Triathlon,(1/2 mile swim, 10 mile bike, & 3 mile run) is a flat and fast scenic course that works its way around Bantam Lake. The race is great for first timers and beginners yet challenging for the veteran competitor. We also have a short course for youths 11 - 14 yrs, which add to the family nature of the event.Fee for youth: $25.00 individual or $50.00 per team
For the 10th Anniversary, the Sandy Beach Triathlon will feature a First Timers Event inthe memory of Joanne McCormick. 1/2 the proceeds from this catagory will be givento the Lustgarden Foundation in her name. We give awards out 3 deep in 8 divisions both Male and Female as well as the 3 divisions in Male, Female and Mixed Teams
