May 29, 2012 - 5-7 pm - Skinny Raven (downtown)
Maya 31, 2012 - 5-7 pm - Chain Reaction Cycles
June 2, 2012 - 3-5 pm - Chugiak High School Parking Lot

Race time will start promptly at 8:00 am. Top 24 seeded individual racers will go first. TEAMS will go after the Top 24 seeded individual racers. Bib numbers will then be assigned according to those who purchased early bib numbers and then by when you registered. Kids will follow immediately after the final team has gone at approximately 2:00 pm. Parking is limited so be prepared to park at Birchwood Elementary School and walk the short distance through the woods. Watch for bikers and runners on the course if you plan on coming late. Come early, cheer each other on and make a day of it at the Eagle River Tri. ALL PARKING LOTS will be completely closed to any kind of traffic during the kids race. This is for their safety and enjoyment.

$12.00 off for USAT members, (USAT raised one day fee for 2012)
$5.00 off for Alaska Tri members.

Discounts calculated at end of registration. With both discount and early bird registration (prior to 1/31/12) you can register for as low as $45.00!

BUY AN EARLY BIB ASSIGNMENT

For just $20.00 you can buy an early bib assignment. Anyone wanting bib numbers 25 - 150 can be guaranteed an early bib number for an additional $20, first come, first serve!

BIB ASSIGNMENTS & START TIMES

ALL bib numbers will be assigned in order of registration date. IF you elect NOT to buy the early bib assignments for bibs #25-150, your bib assignment will be after 151 and be assigned in order of registration. Bibs 25-150 are for those that pay the extra $20.00 for early assignments. Teams will also go before individuals racers (but after the top 24 seeded). This will put the first individual racer (that registered first for example) starting after 180 spots.

EARLY BIRD CONTINUED

Swimmers will start in order of bib number, after the top 24 seeded racers and then the teams.

One person may reg. for the entire team; HOWEVER, EVERY team member must pick up their own race packet in order to sign the waiver. USAT Rules. Sorry!

Special Note: TEAMS will begin after the seeded competitors, around 8:30AM (not after all of the individuals as in past years)

If you would like to be considered for seeding in the top 12 male and top 12 female positions you MUST be registered by May 1, 2011.

REFUNDS

Refund Policy:

THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS ONCE A REGISTRATION HAS BEEN PROCESSED. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Planning and developing an athletic event that ensures adequate support and supplies for participants is difficult. We rely on the registration information to provide us with an accurate participant count. Because this is vital to the success of our events, there will be no refunds once a registration has been processed

TRANSFERS

Official race bib transfer policy: Due to increased litigation and higher insurance costs, no participant may transfer his/her entry slot/bib number to another individual. Sorry, but this one is a biggie. If an individual is found to have raced under someone else's name or bib number, that person will be disqualified.

There will be NO race day registration
Bib p/u on race day available to those from outside Anchorage only.
Please understand the above policy. Race day is hectic! You do not want to be standing in line for your bib when you should be warming up. There are 3 separate opportunities to pick up your bib prior to race day. Thank you!

USAT RULES

In order to obtain event insurance & USAT sanctioning, the following policies must be posted:
To maintain the integrity of the event timing, the combining of any leg from a solo participant with that of any team is not allowed.
This event is sponsored by USA Triathlon, and participants must either be a member of USAT or purchase a one-day race license- calculated in registration fee.
No transferring bib numbers to another participant . See Transfers for more details.
