The Stephen Siller Tunnel To Towers Run – Mobile, AL is 5k walk/run event honoring the courage and dedication of first responders, our military men and women and their families.
The Stephen Siller Tunnel To Towers Foundation, USA Cares and the Blue Star Mothers of America are proud to be a small part of this effort to honor those who serve our nation, and their families who wait.
Date and Time:
5K bicycle ride will start at 7:30 AM; 5K race will start at 8 AM; Fun Run will start at 8:45 AM; 5K Motorcycle Ride will start at 9:15 AM.
5K events will start at Battleship Park; Fun Run will start at the intersection of Government and Conception Streets.

Point to point 5K course. Participants will start at Battleship Park, run along the Causeway, through the Bankhead Tunnel, west on Government Street, north on Dearborn, and east on Dauphin Street to finish near Bienville Square.
1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. Fun Run participants will complete the last mile of the 5K course - the start will be at the intersection of Government and Conception Streets.

Packet Pick-up and Late Registration:
Late registration and packet pick-up will be available at the Hampton Inn Downtown (62 South Royal Street) from noon until 8 PM on September 10 and from 5:30 AM - 7 AM on September 11.
Participants and supporters registered by September 4 will be guaranteed a tee shirt in the size requested. After September 4, tee shirt sizes can not be guaranteed.
Anyone wishing to be a part of the Tunnel to Towers event without participating in the runs or ride is invited to a supporter. Supporters will receive an event tee shirt and have the opportunity to be a volunteer for the event.
All finishers will receive a commemorative challenge coin. Top male and female 5K Overall finishers and top teams in the following categories: active military, veteran, fire station, law enforcement (precinct or department), open male, open female, open coed, and school (elementary, middle, high school, and college).
Food, beverages, awards presentation and music in Bienville Square. All registered participants and supporters are invited to attend. Participants, supporters, and visitors invited to visit Museum of Mobile for the opening of the Recovery exhibit.

4 – 10 PM: LODA Live Music Fest in downtown Mobile. Public venue in Cathedral Square
6 – ? PM: Restaurants, bars, and taverns offer specials for T2T participants

6:30 AM: Sunrise Service at Battleship Park
· Recognition of the 127 Alabama military personnel that have died as a result of the events of 9-11-2001
· Flyover by Coast Guard
· Presentation of colors
7:30 AM: 5K Run/Walk starts (Battleship Park)
7:30 AM: Celebration activities open in Bienville Square
8:30 AM: 1 Mile Run/Walk starts (west opening of Bankhead Tunnel)
