The annual State Games, taking place in Birmingham June 22-24, encompasses 25 different sports with over 100 different sporting events and is the largest amateur multi-sporting event in Alabama. The 2012 State Games Opening Ceremonies will be held in Birmingham inside the BJCC Arena on Friday, June 22 at 6:45 pm and will be televised live statewide.
