Additional Information

Welcome

Join Lakeside's River Park Conservancy for the 5th Annual "San Diego River Run" 5k Run & Walk on Saturday, April 14, 2012. This family-friendly race highlights a different San Diego River Trail each year.

Course

The 2012 course is a beautiful route that showcases the diversity of the San Diego River and highlights Santee's recreational amenities. The event starts at Town Center Community Park East in Santee. The course loops around the soccer fields, then heads east onto a trail to access Cottonwood/Chubb Lane, and then connects to trails (beautiful open-space along the San Diego River) and returns to the park via a trail. Please note that the course is subject to change.

Restore the River

This event is a fundraiser for Lakeside's River Park Conservancy (LRPC). We hope to raise $25,000 which will help us get closer to our overall goal of being part of the 52-mile San Diego River Trail that will one day run from the mountains of Julian to the sea at Ocean Beach.

Event Features

Each paid entry includes a great t-shirt, chip-timed results, post-race refreshments (water/oranges/bananas, Clif Builder Bars) and tons of fun! Join us for Post Race Festival which features vendor booths, food, music and entertainment, kids arts & crafts and more.
