September 11: Run for Remembrance On the Eleventh anniversary of September 11, Soldiers’ Angels will host the Run for Remembrance to honor the men and women who died in the attacks on our country and to support those who fight to preserve our freedom
Registration: Early Registration is a $20.00, donation 12-under $10.00 donation. Race day Registration is a $25.00 donation .You may pay with a Credit Card ONLINE ONLY at www.active.com or pay with check made payable to “Soldier’ Angels” Memo: 5k. Mailed to: P.O. Box 9039 Panama City Beach, Florida 32417 with form below. REGISTER EARLY! Online registration ends September 6th 2012. T-shirts & Race Packet Pick-Up: Every registered participant will receive an original “Run for Remembrance” t-shirt. Packet pick up will be held at Dicks Last Resort, Friday September 7 from 12 pm- 7 pm. You may also pick up your packet on Race Day at the Race Site at 7:00 am. Awards: Overall Male & Female finishers in the 5k race will receive an award. Additionally, awards for 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each age groups Age Groups: 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+ Post Party: At Dicks Last Resort , with food, beverages and a recognition ceremony honoring local military, police and fire departments Special Note: Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand pushed or pulled vehicle will be allowed on the course, but at a walk pace capacity only. Absolutely NO in-line skates, roller skates or runners with baby strollers will be allowed on run course. This rule is an RRCA regulation!
