RACE JUDICATA is a Fun Run/Walk and 5K Race sponsored by Loyola Law School of New Orleans and benefiting Boys Hope Girls Hope of Greater New Orleans. This year's race will be held in New Orleans at Audubon Park's Shelter #10 on March 3, 2012. Complimentary Food and Beverages will be served. Pre-registration includes a complimentary t-shirt to be distributed after the race. 5K Race Awards will be presented to 1st through 3rd overall men and women; 1st place overall to men and women Masters; 1st and 2nd place overall teams with the best average times; 1st and 2nd place participation awards to professional firms; and 1st place youth to young men and women under 14.
RACE JUDICATA started as a unique way to raise money and awareness for the education of children in need, while bringing the legal community together to build a brighter future for New Orleans. All donations raised directly support BOYS HOPE GIRLS HOPE, which is a privately funded, non-profit organization that operates two residential for children in need in Mid-City. The mission of BOYS HOPE GIRLS HOPE is to help academically capable and motivated children in need to reach their full potential and become men and women for others by providing values-centered, family-like homes, opportunities, and education through college.
