The Run for Angels & Chicken Q is a major fundraiser for Angel's House, a children's shelter in Coweta County. The One Mile, 5K and 10K (Peachtree Road Race qualifiers) courses are set in historic downtown Newnan, Georgia, also known as the "City of Homes". The Run for Angels features a certified 10K & 5K course for competitive runners;the one mile course is fun for the whole family. NEW IN 2012 - Chip timing for all races....no tearoff tags; no finish cards to fill out in the cold! The races begin and end at The First United Methodist Church and are followed by a Chicken Q (TICKETS $9.00 EACH) in the church parish hall after the race. Long sleeved t-shirt guaranteed to all preregistrants before January 26th.
