Hero Rush is the obstacle race and experience created by firefighters for everyone. Get ready for a grueling 5k run studded with creative obstacles that simulate the challenges that firefighters face every day. Crawl through smoke-filled mazes, scale steep roofs, drag massive fire hoses to the blaze, climb ladders, bust through windows and more! Do you have what it takes to be a Hero? Hero Rush gives you the chance to put your mettle to the test.

Afterward, enjoy the Inferno Midway, where both runners and spectators can practice their firefighter skills on stand-alone obstacles and challenges. This family-friendly festival area will also include two kid’s courses, demonstrations from local fire departments, food and drinks, apparel and merchandise tents, music and entertainment. Hero Rush supports the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, which honors the nation’s fallen firefighters and works to reduce line-of-duty deaths. For every runner who chooses to run in the "343 Wave" honoring firefighters killed on 9/11 in the Twin Towers, the NFFF will receive a $20 donation. Hero Rush also supports a local charity in each community.
