Girls on the Run and Girls on Track are life-changing, character development programs for girls in 3rd through 8th grade. Our mission is to educate and prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living.

Event Description
Girls on the Run is a positive youth development program which combines an interactive curriculum and running to inspire self-respect and healthy lifestyles in pre-teen girls. Our core curriculum addresses many aspects of girls' development - their physical, emotional, mental and social well-being. Lessons provide girls with the tools to make positive decisions and to avoid risky adolescent behaviors.
Spring Season
Girls on the Run of San Diego will begin its Spring 2012 Season on Monday, February 27th. Practices will start on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.
Registration
Registration will close March 9th OR when the team is full. Each team is limited to 15 girls. Registrations are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
Each team must have a minimum of 8 girls registered by February 20th for the program to run. We will contact you by February 6th if your team is in jeopardy of being cancelled.
Attendance
Girls should attend twice a week. Please do not register your daughter if you know she won’t be able to attend twice a week.
Program Fee Includes
- Twenty-four 75 minute sessions conducted by certified GOTR coaches
- GOTR t-shirt
- Water bottle
- Snacks at the end of each session
- End of season certificates and awards
- Entry into season ending 5k
Cancellation Policy
If for any reason your daughter is no longer able to participate in the program, we will offer refunds for cancelled registration through March 9th. Refunds after the start of the season will be prorated. No refunds will be offered after the March 9th deadline.
