The 2nd Annual Fort Bend Fair Parade 5K will be held Friday September 27. The course is flat and will be lined with spectators from start to finish (a great opportunity for a PR and the course record). This event goes to a great cause and will raise funds for the FBCFA Scholarships as well as the Rosenberg Lions Club Scholarship Fund. The run is open to all runners and walkers, no pets please. The celebration and awards ceremony will be at the end of the parade route @ Damon and Hwy 90.  REGISTER EARLY TO ASSURE AVAILABILITY OF RACE TECH SHIRT.

FYI

The run/walk will follow the parade route, so be prepared to have transportation back to your vehicle if it was left at the start line. Walkers are welcome, but they must be aware that the parade will start on time and they must stay ahead of the front of the parade. The middle of the course will have a 1/2mile loop, if there are any slower walkers they will be directed to bypass the loop to assure we dont interfere with the parade. Each participant must fill out the waiver for the parade to participate in the run/walk. The run will start on time so make sure you come early, there will be added traffic with the parade participants around the staging area.
