Course
Ava's Angels 5k run will take runners through the beautiful neighborhood of Lyndwood. While the race is certified for those race enthusiasts, it is just as fun for families and friends to come out and enjoy the outdoors and experience the thrill of being a part of a community fund-raising event. There will be safety marshals stationed along the course and a water station at the halfway point!

Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup will be held Friday, May 25 from 5-8pm in front of Fitness 19.
Attention
No inline skates, bikes, or pets allowed. Strollers are welcome!
Pre-Race Activities
Warm-up by Pat Emery's Basic Training.
Awards
There will be prizes for all age groups, not to mention some very nice raffle prizes. In addition, the goody bags will be loaded with family friendly products from Lansinoh and Therapearl!
Registration Cost
All Runners: $25
If you can not make the race, feel free to sign up as a "Virtual Runner!"
Onsite Registration
There will NO LONGER be race day registration.
Parking
Plenty of parking available in the shopping center.
Event Proceeds
The proceeds of this race go to The Conklin Family Foundation. 9 year old, Ava Claire was diagnosed with a brain tumor in October 2011. She spent 4.5 months in the hospital rehabilitating. She is finally home! Her family has high hopes she will someday walk, talk, run and laugh out loud again! The proceeds from this event will help make Ava Claire's dream a reality!
Chronotrack Timing
Transponder timing provided by Amazing Race Timing will be used to score the race. The system uses the Chronotrack B-Tag which is attached to runners' bib and records the exact time a runner crosses the starting line and the finish line, resulting in a net time for each runner. The B-Tag is disposable.
