In the United States, more than 80,000 women are diagnosed with a gynecologic cancer each year - and they need your help!

Athena's Run is a 5k run and 1 mile survivor's walk/fun run to raise awareness and support for gynecologic cancers. The event is about celebrating those who have survived, honoring the lives of those who have passed, and encouraging those who are still battling their cancers.

Registration Details

5K - $25 until September 15th, then $30 through race day; 1- mile walk - $15 through race day

T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 500 entries.

Registration Close Date

Online Registration will close October 3, 2012, at 11:59 pm. However, on-site registration will be available the morning of the race and at pre-registration packet pick-up.

Packet Pick-Up

Early packet pick-up will be held on October 5 at Fleet Feet Sports in Winston Salem, from 4-7 pm. On site registration and packet pick-up is also available at Shelter 4 in Tanglewood beginning at 7:00 am on race day.

Team Captains

Please click the yellow "Create Your Team" button and create your team. Once your team has been created, please return to this page and click on the green "Register Now" button and register for your team.

Team Members

Please click the green "Register Now" button to register. On the registration form, select your team name from the drop down list of teams and continue with your registration. If you do NOT see your team's name in the drop down list, please contact your team captain.

Individuals

Please click the green "Register Now" button to register. DO NOT select a team name from the drop down list within the registration form.

Awards and Prizes

Cash prizes will be awarded to the overall top 3 males and females ($200, $100, $50). Medals will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers in each age category: 9 years and under; 10-19 years; 20-29 years; 30-39 years; 40-49 years; 50-59 years; and 60+ years.
