Awards
Prizes are given to the top 3 M/F overall, top 3 M/F masters, top adaptive athlete, and top 3 M/F finishers in special categories: lawyer, legal assistant, legal secretary, law librarian, admin, summer associate, law student and CVD survivor. The first place M/F winner in each age category will also be awarded at the race. All other winners will receive prizes by mail. Age categories are: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+.
ChronoTrack Timing and Scoring
Transponder timing operated by Pacers Events will be used to score the 10K race. The system uses a computer tag which is incorporated into the runner's bib and records the exact time a runner crosses the starting line and the finish line, resulting in a net time for each runner. The B-tag is disposable. Overall awards will be based upon clock time and age group awards will be based upon transponder times.
Are You a CVD Survivor?
We want to recognize all cardiovascular disease and stroke survivors who participate in our event. Please let us know you are a survivor when you register or arrive to volunteer and you will be directed to the Tribute Area where you can share your story and/or pick up a survivor cap.
