The Ruth Rhoden Craven Foundation for Postpartum Depression Awareness is hosting its 9th annual Moms' Run 5K Run & Walk. Each year on Mother’s Day weekend, the foundation honors mom by supporting a cause that affects so many mothers around the LowCountry.
Proceeds
All proceeds from this race benefit the Ruth Rhoden Craven Foundation. This annual event is the foundation’s largest fundraiser and furthers its efforts of educating, supporting and healing women suffering from postpartum depression.
Friday, May 11th
4:00pm-8:00pm Packet Pickup at TrySports Mt. Pleasant; 6:00pm-7:00pm TrySports Clinic: Energy Gel Basics by Moms' Run Guest Runner, Holly Ortlund
Saturday, May 12th
6:30am -- Packet Pickup & Race Day Registration; 7:45am -- Race Day Registration Closes; 8:00am -- Race Start; 9:00am -- Awards Ceremony; 9am-Noon -- Family Fun-Day; 12:00pm -- Post-Race Fun at Daniel Island Grille

Awards three deep for female & male groups: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
Strollers
Strollers & joggers are welcome! This year there will be a separate award category for anyone running with a child in a stroller/jogger.
After Race
Stay after the race for Family Fun Day with complimentary food & beverages, great music, and lots of great activities for the kids and fun for the whole family. Family Fun Day runs from 9am-12pm at Blackbaud stadium and is free for all Moms' Run participants. (A $10 donation at the door is suggested for families not part of the Moms' Run).
Additional Information
5K course is USAT&F certified. Start and finish lines are just outside Blackbaud Stadium and the course proceeds along Daniel Island Drive and through the beautiful Etiwan Park neighborhood. Race monitors will be at each turn. Race will take place rain or shine. No refunds. T-shirts NOT guaranteed for late or race day registrants.
