Haley was a healthy, beautiful, happy little girl. On May 15, 2000, at the tender age of 21 months, she went to sleep and never woke up. Because she was over the age of 1, her death is not considered SIDS, but instead she belongs to a lesser-know category called Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC). To this day, her friends and family still do not know the cause of her death. Please join us on July 4th for a 5-mile cross-country run or a 2-mile family walk. Walk. Run. Laugh. Remember.
Haley's Run for a Reason kicks off Orinda's 4th of July festivities at 8am. There is a pancake breakfast, parade at 10am and park activities with live music, food and kids activities.
