5th Annual Race for Grace 5K Run/Walk/10K Run

This is the 5th Annual Race for Grace. All proceeds from the event go to help support the Teen Challenge Women's Home in Ft. Myers. Teen Challenge is a faith-based organization that helps teens and adults find hope and recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. It is a 12 to 18 month live-in program located in Ft. Myers. Teen Challenge International is found in 80 countries around the world and has both men's and women's centers. Ft. Myers is home to both men's and women's facilities.

Divisions for both 5K/10K runners and 5K walkers is as follows for males and females: 10 and under; 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+. Awards will be presented following the event. Many prizes will be given away via drawing after the awards ceremony. A special drawing will be held for a 2 night stay at Castaways Beach Resort on Sanibel/Captiva.The course is flat and fast. Water and Gatorade stations will be placed along the course. It is an OPEN COURSE, but participants will be in a bike lane going against traffic. Volunteers will be along the course to promote safety.
