4th Annual Summer Solstice XC Challenge

We're excited to present RunCobb’s 4th Annual Summer Solstice XC Challenge! The 5-K course is located at the Cobb County Corps Property, which is a flat grass and dirt trail (with an occasional hay bale jump for fun). Race as a 5-person team and score in a traditional cross country race format or run as an individual. Take a break from the typical road race and race with teammates through natural settings!

This year we will have Packet Pickup at the Kennesaw Big Peach Running Co. on Friday night June 15th from 5:00 pm to Close. THERE IS NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION. AWARDS: Awards will be presented to the top individual and top team finish in the categories, all-male team, all-female team and co-ed team for the following age groups: adult and multi-age. PROCEEDS: Proceeds from the race help support RunCobb, which is a nonprofit organization that advocates and supports running in Cobb County through trail development and maintenance at local parks and schools and through the recognition of youth, high school, and community runners with awards for their achievements. Proceeds will also help suppor the Cobb Angles 11u Baseball team.

Mapquest.com and the iPhone GPS will get you to the Race site, Yahoo Maps will not. From Stilesboro Rd: Turn Right onto Mars Hill Rd towards Hwy 41. Turn left onto County Line Rd. Turn Right onto Old Stilesboro Rd. Race site will be on your Right. From Hwy 41/Cobb Parkway: Take Mars Hill Road towards Brookstone CC. Turn right onto County Line Rd just past Durham MS and Frey ES. Turn Right onto Old Stilesboro and the Race site will be on your right.
