Age and Time Requirements
All athletes entering the Bride of FrankenFooter 5k or the FrankenFooter Half-Marathon must maintain a 16-minute per mile pace throughout the race. Anyone not able to maintain the respective paces may be picked up and transported to the finish. It is suggested that you train at a 15-minute per mile pace. All athletes entering the FrankenFooter Half-Marathon will need to be 14 years of age or older on the day of the race.
Waiver and Packet Pick-Up
Waivers will be provided approximately one month before the race. To pick up your race packet, you must bring a Photo ID and your signed waiver. If the participant is under 18 years old, the waiver must be completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian.
The race will be held rain or shine. If there is lightning in the area the race will either have a delayed start or, depending on the intensity of the weather, be cancelled. The determination will be made by the Event Management staff.
We are looking for the Walking Dead to help at the FrankenFooter Weekend. All volunteers must be at least 16 years of age (with parent permission!), wear a full costume, and be willing to work their entire shift. All volunteers will receive a FrankenFooter T-shirt, Mug and refreshments. Look for an email with all volunteer pre-race directions and your assignments.
