The Footsteps in Faith 5K -1 mile fun walk and Family Fun Day benefits Genre's Kids with Cancer Fund, a nonprofit organization formed late in 2009 in honor of Genre Baker who was eight years old when he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Our mission is simple - to assist families living through childhood cancer in any way we can, emotionally, financially, and spiritually.
Genre's Kids with Cancer Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization as designated by the IRS. Your donations are tax-deductible. Thank you for your support!

5K Run -5K Walk -1 Mile Walk -Kids Fun Run. Participants will receive official race t-shirt, virtual goody bag, and complimentary refreshments.

Additional Information
Please register by August 1, 2012 to be guaranteed a race shirt. We will also accept registrations on race day at 7:00am. After the race, there will be an award ceremony. Please plan to stay and join us for a family festival including live music, concessions, auctions, games and activities for children and adults.
Please note:
Children 3 & Under are free and not required to register. A waiver must be signed by each registered participant.

We need volunteers to advertise our race, groups to host carnival games for our festival, people to help on the race course.
