The Skaneateles Road Race, sponsored by Fleet Feet Sports, starts on State St at Austin Park, minutes before the Labor Day Parade. Runners run the parade route downhill on State St and follow a well marked course through Skaneateles, mixing up flat and fast with a few steep hills. Near the end the runners go off-road through the Vargason Nature Trail, then into Austin Park and finishing back at the Firemens Field Days.
Race day registration will be held at the Field Days on the north end of the Pavillion near the baseball field starting at 2:30pm. SkanRaces.com is a subsidiary of the Not For Profit, SkanRaces.com, Inc. Proceeds support Health, Wellness and Recreation in CNY.
