This race is to raise awareness of the importance of an arts education and to raise funds for arts programs in schools who get involved in the event. Every 10 participants a school has earns a portion of the proceeds. Come out, bring a lawn chair and umbrella and enjoy music, dance and art work of the students of PBC along the race route and at the pavilion before and after the race.

6:00 AM Registration; 7:15 AM Make Your Mom Proud 1 Mile Run (10 and Under); 7:25 AM Wheelchair Division Starts; 7:30 AM 5K Certified Run and Walk Starts; 8:45 AM Awards Presented; 7:00 AM ~ 10:00 AM Enjoy music and an art exhibit by Palm Beach County students

Timing Chip
The 5K Run will be chip timed using the AccuChip Disposable Timing Tag which is on the back of the race bib. Do not fold, tear or bend the tag. The Non-Competitive Walk will not be chip timed. All runners and walkers must pick up there race bib at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the event.
Awards
Awards in the 5K Run will be given to the Top 3 Overall M/F Runners, Top Master M/F Runner and Top 3 M/F Runners in the following age group categories: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-79, 80+. Awards in the 5K Wheelchair Division will be given to the Top Overall M/F Wheelchair Athlete. All 1 Milers will recieve a finishers medal.
Non-Competitive 5K Walk Awards
There will be no awards for the non-competitive 5K Walk.
Heat Warning
The temperature and humidity can be high in South Florida. Participants should properly hydrate before, during and after the race.
