II find I get really hot while running, even in the winter I rarely wear long sleeves. I'm a bit worried that when it gets warm in the summer I won't cope at all. I have been told by some people to train wearing loads of layers so that my body learns to cope with heat. Would you recommend this or is there something else I should do? -Alison

I Finished the Race, Now What?

I finished the race, now what? This is the question on many runner's minds after they reach a new goal. If you finished your first 5k, do you keep running 5ks to get better times, or do you graduate to a new distance? What about those who didn't think their training went very smoothly? Perhaps they feel like giving up running altogether, and just crossing that one off the bucket list! I wanted Coach Jenny's advice on these issues!

Turning Non-Runners Into Running Partners

Sometimes runners just can't convince their friends and family to pick up the sport. This can be frustrating, as you probably want everyone you know to share your love of running. How Can I Improve My Marathon Finishing Time?

For all you marathon runners, I can't imagine anything more frustrating than not improving your finishing time from race to race. I've only run two marathons, and my time improved in the second race. I know I'd be pretty upset if I did worse than my original time, especially if I thought I'd trained to achieve a better one.
